A weekend house party at Sir Henry Angkatell's for just family and close friends... what could possibly go wrong?

Of course a murder takes place, but Christie departs from her usual format whereby the detective gathers the suspects together and eliminates them one by one. Instead we get an insight into the cold, calculating mind of a killer.

The Hollow is one of her few novels which Agatha Christie actually adapted herself for the stage. Most of the other Christie plays are adaptations of her novels: but not always by Agatha Christie. Many people consider it the best of her plays, and indeed it is finely crafted. The characters are engaging and there is a strong element of humour running through the dialogue, not only designed to entertain, but to actually increase the tension.

This is an Agatha Christie, but one with a difference.
